As you will be aware the Executive and DE have not made a decision as to whether or not the GCSE exams scheduled for next week will go ahead. Current guidance suggests that we must assume that they will.
GCSE Examinations – January Series
"Work is therefore ongoing on this issue as a matter of urgency and I intend to provide further clarity in the next couple of days. Until and unless any announcement is made students should expect to continue to sit scheduled examinations"
Regrettably the planned face to face revision classes, scheduled for Thursday 7th and Friday 8th January have to be cancelled for health and safety reasons. The English and Maths teachers have posted revision guidance and materials on Google Classroom. Please encourage your child to log on and to link in with their teachers who continue to be available to support them.
