Following the decision that schools will move to remote learning, home to school transport will not operate to mainstream schools from Monday 11 January. Transport services for pupils attending special schools and EOTAS are continuing to operate as usual.
The Education Authority and Translink will work closely with schools if they identify vulnerable pupils or pupils of key workers, who are eligible for home to school transport, and transport support is required to attend school. Parents/guardians are asked to contact their school in relation to this. Pupils in this category can also use their school sessional passes on scheduled Translink bus and train services where appropriate.
