Saint Benedict’s College is proud to be a Take 5 School and this terms main theme was “GET ACTIVE”. We linked this theme in with our celebration of Autism Awareness Month and decided to get active whilst raising vital funds for Autism NI
To take part in the challenge, each pupil completed 13,000 steps a day, for the duration of one week. This figure reflects the 13,401 school aged children in Northern Ireland who have been diagnosed with autism in 2020-21.
We are delighted with each child's wonderful effort and collectively our year 9 pupils raised an amazing £450 – Didn’t they do great!
