St. Benedict's charitable work

29 September 2017

News of St. Benedictís charitable work has been celebrated in the College by UTV in a feature that will be televised on UTV in November.  The feature centres on a group of young people from St Benedictís who took part in a Fixer project about volunteering following a school trip to Romania. Paige Sheerin, Daniella Timperley, Fionn Johnston, Aine Doherty, Allen Dungo, Conn McGee, Anastasija Chlebuskina were all invited to the College to discuss the volunteering project and it is hoped that this feature will inspire other young people to participate in various volunteering activities.

A number of Year 12 pupils also participated- Dean Millar, Michael Plant, Dominic Martin, Liam Matthews and Peter Kerr shared their experiences of volunteering in the community- parish, GAA and in school.

We look forward to the feature in November.
