We recognise that educating your young people is not only a huge responsibility but also a privilege as we play our part in shaping the educators and entrepreneurs of the future. The young people of our area have the right to access a quality education from age eleven to nineteen. We support the Catholic Bishops' initiative to end academic selection – not academic excellence.
We would like to wish students who have recently left our School Community every success for the future. At present our school is in the top ten for non-selective schools in the NEELB, due largely to the excellence of our examination results in 2015 with 65% of pupils attaining 5A* - C grades.
In order to build upon this success and to affirm our desire to deliver a post-16 curriculum, we would encourage your support. Please be assured of my continuing interest in your child's education and may I wish our School Community a successful year ahead.
